Price factors

What Decides Your Final Document Legalisation Price In Singapore

Two people legalising the same type of document can pay different amounts. These are the points that change your total, so you can estimate it before you ask for a quote.

FactorHow it affects your priceExample
Who issued the documentSingapore government records such as marriage or birth certificates usually go straight to SAL. Private papers like degrees, letters and company documents need our partner Notary Public first.Government record: S$200 for SAL. Private degree: S$80 + S$200.
Destination countryApostille Convention countries need only the SAL apostille. Other countries add an embassy step, and each embassy sets its own fee.China or India: apostille only. UAE or Qatar: plus the embassy fee at cost.
Type of notarial actWitnessing a signature, issuing a notarial certificate and executing company papers are priced differently.S$80 witnessing, S$110 certificate, S$170 company execution.
Number of documents and setsNotary and SAL charges apply per document, so each extra document or extra original set adds its own steps. Two degrees for one country: two SAL fees.
Original or certified copyIf you want to keep your original, a certified true copy is made first and that copy is legalised instead.Copy S$90, or S$130 with a notarial seal.
TranslationSome embassies and ministries ask for a certified translation, priced by page count and language pair.Arabic translation for a UAE file: quoted per page.
Your deadlinePriority handling to meet a visa, court or job date is quoted with your date.Standard timing: no extra charge.
Where you are and where it goesClients overseas courier the original to us, and we return it by tracked courier at cost.Singapore collection: free. Courier to London: at cost.

Steps in the destination country, such as a foreign ministry stamp after arrival, are not part of our price. We tell you if your country needs one.
