UAE · QATAR · KUWAIT — READY FOR MOFA
Starting a job in Dubai, sponsoring your family in Doha or setting up a company in Kuwait? Our document attestation Singapore service takes your Singapore certificates through our partner Notary Public, the Singapore Academy of Law and the Gulf embassy in Singapore.
Before anything is lodged, we check the name spelling, the issuing body and what the employer, free zone or ministry asked for, so your degree or marriage certificate is ready for the final MOFA attestation once it lands in the Gulf.
Tell us the document and the Gulf country, and we reply with the route, price and timeline before any work starts.
When the Gulf asks
Gulf employers, immigration offices and licensing boards rarely accept a Singapore certificate as it is. Certificate attestation in Singapore is usually asked for at one of these moments, and for the Emirates our UAE embassy attestation service covers the extra detail.
Employers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi often need an attested degree before the work permit can be issued.
Sponsoring a husband or wife on a Gulf family visa needs an attested marriage certificate.
Birth certificates are attested so children can join you on your residence visa.
Gulf schools ask for attested birth certificates and school records from Singapore.
Health, engineering and teaching regulators want attested degrees and experience letters.
Ministries that check degree equivalency in the Gulf expect the certificate to be fully attested first.
Free zones and registries ask for attested ACRA papers and board resolutions to open a branch.
Gulf banks and land departments may need an attested power of attorney signed in Singapore.
Country by country
For the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, the attestation steps in Singapore are the same; the difference is what still has to be done after your document reaches that country. This table shows both parts of the attestation for each Gulf country, so you know what to plan for there.
| Country | Steps we complete in Singapore | Next step in that country | Common issue to avoid |
|---|---|---|---|
| United Arab Emirates | Our partner Notary Public (private documents only) → SAL → UAE Embassy in Singapore | UAE MOFA attestation, in person or through the MOFA digital service | Laminated documents cannot be attested; the original paper is needed |
| Qatar | Our partner Notary Public (private documents only) → SAL → Embassy of Qatar in Singapore | Qatar MOFA attestation in Doha | Degrees must come from a university Qatar's education ministry recognises |
| Kuwait | Our partner Notary Public (private documents only) → SAL → Embassy of Kuwait in Singapore | Kuwait MOFA attestation in Kuwait | Employers often want the degree and transcript attested together |
| Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman | Our partner Notary Public (private documents only) → SAL apostille | Nothing further, the apostille is enough | These countries accept an apostille, so no embassy attestation is needed |

From Singapore to the Gulf
Gulf attestation builds on standard document legalisation in Singapore, with an embassy stamp added here and a MOFA stamp added in the Gulf. We run every Singapore stage and brief you on the last one.
We read your employer's or visa agent's list and confirm which documents need notarising and which go straight to SAL.
Our partner Notary Public certifies degrees, copies and private documents so SAL can authenticate them.
The Singapore Academy of Law authenticates the notary's seal or the government officer's signature.
We lodge the documents with the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait embassy in Singapore and collect them once stamped.
We return the attested originals by hand or courier and explain how to complete the MOFA attestation in the Gulf.
Papers we attest
Degree certificate attestation and marriage certificate attestation make up the bulk of Gulf requests. Company and legal papers follow the same chain with a few extra checks.
Degrees, diplomas and transcripts from Singapore universities, polytechnics and schools for jobs, licences and equivalency.
Experience letters and police certificates for Gulf licensing boards and employment visas.
Marriage and birth certificates for residence visas, school places and sponsorship files.
ACRA certificates, board resolutions and powers of attorney for branches, bank accounts and agents in the Gulf.

Share a scan, the Gulf country and your visa or joining date, and we confirm the attestation stages, price and timeline in writing.
What it costs
Attestation pricing follows the stages your document needs, with Singapore government fees built into each step. Embassy fees for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait are passed on at cost and confirmed before we start.
Not covered by our price: the MOFA fee charged in the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait, any Arabic translation the Gulf authority asks for, and urgent handling, which is quoted with your deadline.
Timeline
The Singapore stages of attestation move quickly; the embassy queue is the part that varies. Give us your joining or visa date early and we plan the stages backwards from it.
Need it for a Kuwait joining date? See our Kuwait embassy attestation service for that mission's usual pace. Heading to Egypt instead? Our Egypt embassy legalisation service covers that route.
Before we begin
Gathering these on day one keeps the attestation moving without a second trip or a courier delay.
Tell us early, because a mismatch can need a notarised declaration before the embassy stage.
Some Gulf authorities want an Arabic version, and our certified translation for legalisation fits it into the same chain.
Avoid a second round
Small attestation errors made in Singapore often only show up at the MOFA counter in the Gulf, where fixing them means sending papers back. These are the ones we check for first.
✕ Getting only an apostille for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait
✓ None of these countries accept an apostille, so we always complete the embassy stage for them.
✕ Laminating the original certificate
✓ We check the original before lodging, because laminated documents cannot be attested by the UAE or its ministry.
✕ Experience letter without company details
✓ We confirm the experience letter attestation copy is on letterhead, signed and dated before it goes to the notary.
✕ Skipping the MOFA step after arrival
✓ We explain the MOFA attestation in the Gulf at handover, so the document is accepted by the final office.
FAQ
Doubts people raise just before booking UAE, Qatar or Kuwait attestation from Singapore. Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.
Ask On WhatsAppWe do not lodge documents at MOFA in the Gulf ourselves, so that last step is done by you or someone acting for you there. Many employers have a PRO or visa agent who handles it, so ask them before you book, and we make sure the document reaches you ready for that office.
Yes, you can send the full list, but we can only attest the Singapore-issued certificates. We tell you in writing which items must start in their home country, so you can run both routes at the same time instead of one after the other.
You do not need a new degree in your married name. We often attest your Singapore marriage certificate in the same order, as it links the two names, and we confirm with your quote whether the Gulf office also wants a declaration.
It depends on who issued the certificate, not where you studied. If the degree was awarded by the overseas university, the chain usually has to start in that country, so send us a scan and we check this before you pay.
The stamps go on the original, and you decide who holds it once it is back with you. If you would rather hand over a copy, ask your employer to confirm in writing that an attested notarised true copy is acceptable, and we quote for that instead.
Yes, you can place the order and send the certificates for your family. Singapore marriage and birth certificates go straight to SAL, so your spouse or child does not need to come to our partner Notary Public.
No, each embassy stamp is only for that country, so a new embassy stage is needed. Send us the document with its existing stamps and we confirm whether the earlier Singapore stages can be reused or must be done again.
Usually yes, as long as the replacement was issued by the same Singapore body as the original. We check the issuer's details and date on your scan before quoting, and tell you if the Gulf office is likely to ask why it was reissued.
Send a scan with the Gulf country and your deadline, and we confirm the attestation route and price before any work starts. You can read what past clients said in our client reviews for Gulf attestation.
