DUBAI · ABU DHABI · SHARJAH · ALL EMIRATES
Starting a job in Dubai, sponsoring your family in Abu Dhabi or opening a UAE branch? Our UAE embassy attestation Singapore service takes your Singapore degree, marriage certificate or company papers through our partner Notary Public, the Singapore Academy of Law and the UAE Embassy in Singapore.
Before lodging, we match each document to the list from your employer, free zone or visa typist, check the paper is unlaminated and the names match your passport, and brief you on the final MOFA UAE attestation after you land.
Tell us the document and what the UAE office asked for, and we reply with every step, the price and a timeline before any work starts.
No — full embassy attestation is required
The UAE has not joined the Apostille Convention, so Singapore document legalisation for the Emirates means SAL authentication and UAE Embassy attestation in Singapore, then MOFA attestation in the UAE.

Where UAE offices ask
Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices ask for UAE attestation from Singapore at a few predictable points, from the first work permit to a child's school place. Here are the cases we see most.
Mainland employers and free zones often need your attested degree before MOHRE or the free zone issues the work permit.
The UAE Ministry of Education's recognition of overseas degrees is needed for teaching, government and many engineering roles.
Doctors, nurses and allied health staff licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP are usually asked for attested degrees and experience letters.
ICP and GDRFA Dubai need an attested marriage certificate, translated into Arabic, to sponsor a husband or wife.
A Singapore birth certificate with UAE attestation proves parentage when you sponsor your children.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi schools may ask for an attested birth certificate and, for some grades, attested Singapore school records.
DED, ADGM, DIFC and free zone registries ask for attested ACRA documents and board resolutions from the Singapore parent.
A power of attorney signed in Singapore needs UAE attestation before Dubai Land Department, a bank or a UAE court will act on it.
Document by document
Government-issued Singapore papers go straight to SAL, while private ones start with our partner Notary Public. This table shows where each common document begins and why UAE offices usually want it.
| Document | Issued by | First step in Singapore | Common use in the UAE |
|---|---|---|---|
| Degree certificate | NUS, NTU, SMU, SUSS, SIT, SUTD, polytechnics | Notarial certificate by our partner Notary Public | Employment visa, MOE recognition, professional licence |
| Academic transcript | University or polytechnic registrar | Notarial certificate by our partner Notary Public | DHA, DOH or MOHAP licensing and teaching posts |
| Experience letter | Singapore employer | Notarial certificate by our partner Notary Public | Healthcare and engineering licensing, skilled job grade |
| Marriage certificate | Registry of Marriages or ROMM | SAL authentication directly | Spouse residence visa with ICP or GDRFA |
| Birth certificate | ICA | SAL authentication directly | Children's residence visas and KHDA or ADEK school places |
| Certificate of Clearance (COC) | Singapore Police Force | SAL authentication directly | Some licensing and employment files |
| ACRA business profile or certificate of incorporation | ACRA | SAL authentication directly | Branch licence with DED or a free zone |
| Board resolution or power of attorney | Your company or you | Execution before our partner Notary Public | Appointing a UAE manager, bank mandates, property sales |

Singapore to the Emirates
Attestation for Dubai or Abu Dhabi runs in a fixed order: the Singapore stages first, then the last one at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We handle the Singapore part and brief you on the last stage.
We compare your scans with the list from your UAE employer, PRO or free zone and confirm which papers need our partner Notary Public first.
Our partner Notary Public issues a notarial certificate for degrees, transcripts, letters and company papers, while government documents skip this stage.
The Singapore Academy of Law authenticates the notary's seal or the government officer's signature so the UAE Embassy will accept it.
We lodge the document with the UAE Embassy in Singapore, pay the fee at cost and collect it once attested.
After we return the originals, you or your PRO submit them to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs online with UAE PASS or at a MOFA service centre.
Common UAE files
Education and family papers make up most Dubai and Abu Dhabi attestation requests, with company files close behind for new branches.
Singapore degrees and transcripts for UAE work visas, MOE recognition and licensing files.
Marriage and birth certificates for spouse and child residence visas and school enrolment.
Experience letters and police certificates for healthcare, engineering and teaching regulators in the Emirates.
ACRA records and powers of attorney for branch licences, bank accounts and property deals in the UAE.

Costs in Singapore and the UAE
Pricing for UAE attestation from Singapore depends on the stages each document needs, with SAL's own charge already inside our fee. The UAE Embassy fee is passed on at cost, and the MOFA fee is paid later in the UAE.
Paid separately: the MOFA fee and any Arabic legal translation in the UAE, courier to the Emirates, and urgent handling, which we quote with your deadline. Company papers such as a board resolution attestation for the UAE follow the same steps.
Planning your dates
Working back from a Dubai joining date or visa expiry is the safest way to plan UAE embassy attestation. The Singapore stages are quick; the embassy queue is the part we confirm with your quote.
Comparing offers across the Gulf? The Kuwait embassy attestation route has its own embassy queue and ministry step.
Before we lodge
Sending these with your first message lets us start UAE attestation without a second courier run.
Send the regulator's list too, because DHA, DOH and teaching bodies often want the transcript attested alongside the degree.
Courier the originals to us and we return them attested, using our legalisation from overseas process.
Avoid MOFA refusals
Problems with UAE attestation often surface only at the MOFA stage in the Emirates, when the original is already there. We look for these issues in Singapore first.
✕ A laminated certificate
✓ We check every original on arrival, because MOFA UAE will not attest a laminated document and a fresh certified copy must be ordered instead.
✕ Translating into Arabic before attestation
✓ We advise leaving Arabic to a UAE Ministry of Justice licensed legal translator after MOFA, and if a document is not in English our certified translation for legalisation covers the English version first.
✕ Attesting a photocopy
✓ We confirm whether the UAE office needs the original, as MOFA does for birth and marriage certificates, or a notarised copy we can prepare.
✕ Treating the embassy stamp as the end
✓ We remind you at handover that MOFA UAE attestation is still needed before ICP, GDRFA or MOHRE accept the document.
FAQ
These questions about UAE attestation come up once people are ready to order. Something else on your list? Message us.
Ask On WhatsAppNo for the Singapore stages, which are the same for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates. MOFA attestation is federal, but local bodies such as DHA in Dubai or DOH in Abu Dhabi may add their own checks.
Yes. We can return the attested originals to you or courier them straight to your PRO or typing centre in the UAE for the MOFA stage.
Usually not, because attestation stays on the original document. A police certificate is different, since UAE offices often want one issued recently.
It can, but ICP and employers may question it. We can prepare a notarised one-and-the-same-person declaration so the link between both names is attested too.
Yes. We lodge the whole family set in one batch, and each document is priced separately.
In most cases, yes. Free zones and DED both ask for attested parent company papers, though each free zone sets its own list.
Yes, but the apostille does not count toward UAE attestation. The document still needs SAL authentication for the UAE Embassy, which is charged as a separate step.
Employers often accept the degree alone, but MOE recognition and healthcare or teaching licences frequently ask for both. Check your list and we attest them in the same batch.
Share a scan, the emirate and your deadline, and we confirm the UAE route and price before any work starts. You can also read what past clients said in our client reviews for UAE attestation.
